- What is the difference between hemp and marijuana?
- Both hemp and marijuana are from the "cannabis" plant species. Hemp is cannabis that contains a THC (the popular psychoactive cannabinoid) content of less than 0.3% and higher CBD content. Marijuana contains high levels of THC content (20-30%) and very little CBD.
- What is difference between isolate, broad spectrum, and full spectrum?
- Isolate
- Pure Cannabidiol (CBD) created by further processing hemp oil and removing all other molecules. What is left is a white powder contains zero THC.
- Full Spectrum
- A hemp oil created from full plant extract. Includes all natural cannabinoids present, fatty acids, and terpenes. All compounds work together to create what is called the Entourage Effect.
- Broad Spectrum
- The same as Full Spectrum but with all trace amounts of THC removed.
- Is CBD legal?
- Short answer: Yes
- In the United States, CBD is federally legal when derived from industrial hemp containing less than 0.3% THC.
